Overtaking By Emergency Vehicles

I have managed to improve the behaviour of emergency vehicles when there are multiple lanes available for one direction of travel. This was accomplished by increasing the speed factor of the emergency vehicle and allowing it to overtake vehicles in the right lane. (The default behaviour is to not allow the passing of vehicles while using the right lane). However, the behaviour of the other vehicles is unchanged, so they in no way recognize that there is an emergency vehicle behind them. This behaviour is not analogous to real life where where passenger vehicles will change lanes or yield completely to allow the emergency vehicle to pass when their presence is detected.
